Actual position and research subject
I have developed a strong expertise on the yeast Yarrowia lipolytica: a promising chassis for the production of lipid derivatives. In my research, I combine tightly enzyme and metabolic engineering strategies to diversify the panel of lipid-derived products (tailored or functionalized fatty acids but also polymers) that could be produced by this oleaginous yeast.
