JTED 2025

JTED 2025 - From separation to recovery, for local management.

Water and waste treatment, particularly in urban areas, have historically been highly centralised activities. With a view to local management and optimum use of resources, this 12th edition of the JTED is looking at the role of short circuits and circular management in urban, peri-urban and rural environments.

A number of cross-cutting issues will be discussed in terms of the environmental, health and economic framework, addressing questions relating to energy, transport, acceptability and the scale of water and waste treatment.

The programme for this 12th edition of JTED will help you to answer these questions through conferences, feedback, round tables and a site visit. It will be structured around 3 main sessions:

  • Optimising recovery: the importance of proper separation, collection and storage
  • Optimising recovery: the importance of treatment
  • Optimising recycling: the importance of taking a holistic view of the various processes involved
