Actual position and research subject
As research engineer of the National Institute for Agronomic Research (INRAe), I provide my colleagues at TBI my expertise in various fields of structural biology and biophysics such as protein production and purification, X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, scattering techniques (SAXS, DLS) as well as biophysical techniques (ITC, DSF, CD) and basic molecular modelling. My main research interest is the study of enzyme molecular mechanisms through the combination of multidisciplinary approaches. I actively work on the structure-activity relationships of various classes of enzymes such as glucansucrases, glycosyltransferases, glycosyl hydrolases, phosphorylases and depolymerases. Within the PICT-ICEO platform, I am the responsible of the protein purification & characterization facility, teaching students and helping researchers on how to produce, purify and characterize proteins.
