Le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un r\u00e9acteur biologique innovant a permis de lever certaines limitations et d\u2019atteindre \u00e0 la fois des % de CH4 \u00e9lev\u00e9s et des productivit\u00e9s int\u00e9ressantes . Ce d\u00e9veloppement a fait l\u2019objet d\u2019un brevet commun INSA ENOSIS (Brevet METHABIO FR1903721). Par la suite, la collaboration entre l\u2019\u00e9quipe SYMBIOSE et l\u2019\u00e9quipe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toulouse-biotechnology-institute.fr\/en\/poles\/equipe-tim\/\">TIM \u00a0<\/a>de TBI au sein de la th\u00e8se de Vincent NGU (MESR 2019) a permis de d\u00e9crire \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle microscopique des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de transfert gaz-liquide et liquide-phase biologique avec des outils de simulation directe. Cet aller-retour entre \u00e9chelles et mod\u00e8le\/exp\u00e9rience a permis d&#8217;utiliser ces mod\u00e8les biologiques avec transferts pour des applications de plus grandes \u00e9chelles. Ces avanc\u00e9es sont cl\u00e9s notamment dans le cadre du d\u00e9veloppement de la plateforme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toulouse-biotechnology-institute.fr\/en\/plateformes-plateaux\/solidia-2\/\">SOLIDIA<\/a>.<\/p><p>Depuis 2015, l\u2019\u00e9quipe SYMBIOSE de TBI travaille sur la r\u00e9duction biologique du CO2 en CH4 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019apport d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne renouvelable (provenant de l\u2019\u00e9lectrolyse de l\u2019eau aliment\u00e9e par de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 renouvelable). Cette technologie est appel\u00e9 m\u00e9thanation biologique. Les travaux ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 au sein du projet de recherche HYCABIOME (laur\u00e9at de l&#8217;appel \u00e0 projet Energie durable de l&#8217;ADEME 2015)\u00a0 Ce <a href=\"https:\/\/solagro.org\/travaux-et-productions\/references\/hycabiome-methanation-biologique-et-methanisation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">programme<\/a> s&#8217;inscrivait dans le cadre des recherches sur le power to gas, et la cr\u00e9ation d&#8217; interconnections entre les r\u00e9seaux gaz et \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour \u00e9quilibrer l\u2019offre, la demande, et le stockage d\u2019\u00e9nergie.<\/p><p><strong>Outlook<\/strong> :<\/p><p>Ces avanc\u00e9es sont cl\u00e9s notamment dans le cadre du d\u00e9veloppement de la plateforme SOLIDIA et de la chaire INSA GRDF.<\/p><p><strong>Valorisations<\/strong><\/p><p>Dumas, Claire, et Mathieu Sperandio. \u00ab\u00a0Une production de m\u00e9thane \u00e0 partir de dioxyde de carbone et d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 renouvelable\u00a0\u00bb.
