\u00e9tudie et modifie le m\u00e9tabolisme microbien et sa r\u00e9gulation dans le but de \u201ccomprendre pour cr\u00e9er\u201d et son pendant compl\u00e9mentaire \u201ccr\u00e9er pour comprendre\u201d. L\u2019id\u00e9e \u00e9tant de fournir de nouvelles connaissances fondamentales sur les microorganismes naturels et synth\u00e9tiques tout en cr\u00e9ant de nouveaux microorganismes utiles \u00e0 l\u2019industrie. Pour ce faire, l\u2019\u00e9quipe int\u00e8gre (i) <strong>une approche de biologie synth\u00e9tique<\/strong> bas\u00e9e sur l\u2019\u00e9dition du g\u00e9nome et l\u2019\u00e9volution dirig\u00e9e afin d\u2019int\u00e9grer de nouvelles\u00a0 fonctionnalit\u00e9s m\u00e9taboliques ou r\u00e9gulatrices\u00a0 dans divers micro-organismes\u00a0; \u00a0(ii) <strong>une approche de biologie des syst\u00e8mes<\/strong> reposant sur des m\u00e9thodes in silico (reconstruction et mod\u00e9lisation du m\u00e9tabolisme) et exp\u00e9rimentales (transcriptomique, m\u00e9tabolomique, fluxomique) pour comprendre et pr\u00e9dire le comportement des souches naturelles et synth\u00e9tiques\u00a0; et (iii) <strong>une approche syst\u00e9mique descendante, <\/strong>du bior\u00e9acteur au micro-organisme, fond\u00e9e sur l\u2019analyse cin\u00e9tique du comportement microbien, afin d\u2019identifier les verrous m\u00e9taboliques dans des conditions de fermentation intensives (forts
