He works in research fields of modeling, online optimization and Digital Twins for biological process. He is authors and co-authors of 33 publications and 6 book chapter (Number of citations: 876 ; H-index : 14) . He is graduated MSc degree from Guadalajara University (2002) on kinetic parameters estimation in an anaerobic digestion process using successive quadratic programming. He realized his PhD from University of Montpellier II (2007) on Modeling, estimation and control of anaerobic digestion processes for optimal hydrogen
