RESEARCH TOPICS
Étude du transfert gaz-liquide appliqué aux réacteurs biologiques
L’objectif est de mieux maîtriser le transfert gaz-liquide au sein des nouveaux réacteurs biologiques du traitement de l’eau et des gaz. Que ce soit dans les stations de traitement d’eaux résiduaires urbaines où l’apport d’oxygène nécessaire au métabolisme des bactéries constitue un enjeu économique fondamental, ou bien dans les réacteurs biologiques produisant du biogaz valorisable ou enfin pour contribuer à la protection de l’environnement et à la stabilité du climat en capturant des COV (Composés organique volatile), il est nécessaire de connaître de façon précise les paramètres physiques et physico-chimiques qui conditionnent le transfert gaz-liquide de façon à quantifier localement ces derniers pour les considérer dans les nouvelles approches de dimensionnement des réacteurs biologiques. Ce travail contribuera de façon effective au développement et à la modélisation de nouveaux réacteurs biologiques intégrant les contraintes énergétiques actuelles.
